Courses for adults and kids. A great experience for families, couples and friends. I offer you the opportunity to come and play with clay while exploring your fantasy and creativity. During a 2 to 3 hour course – lesson you get familiar with clay, you acquire the basic skills to work with it and then you make your own pieces. Come to make your own ceramics! Your own unique ceramic memories from Zakynthos! Personal expression is encouraged!
The standard lesson includes the creation of 2 pieces, one turtle and a more free form like a bowl, a vase or a tile. The shape, the style and the decoration of the ceramics depends on your imagination and creativity.
After the lesson ceramics need to dry under the sun and then I glaze and fire them. Three (3) days after the lesson they come out from the kiln, ready to be taken back home to remember your holidays. In case you do not have the time, I can send them to your country (price 18 euros/kg).
You also have the opportunity to have the imprints of your own or your child’s hands or feet in clay.
Lessons take place every day in groups of up to 12 people.
There is also the opportunity for private lessons upon request.
If you like you may follow a series of lessons for 5-7 days, learning a different technique everyday.
